We are an easygoing Italian family who recently moved back to Rome after 6 years in Boston, MA. Our 22 month-old boy was born there and understands (and speaks a little) English. He goes to daycare M-F from 9.30am to 6pm. We are looking for an English-speaking babysitter for occasional evenings and few hours in the weekends, with no fixed schedule. We live near l'Eur in a neighborhood called Roma 70, a very residential area just off Via Ardeatina (Vicolo dell'Annunziatella). We would prefer somebody with at least 2-3 years of experience in childcare, non-smoker and with their own transportation (car or motorino) because public transportation it's so-so here (but that depends also on where you live, because we do have a couple of local buses that stop right in front of our building). Also, we would need a commitment of no less than 5 months. The pay we have in mind is around 8 euros per hour. If this is in your range of interest, my husband and I would love to hear from you.
